Dr. Sunita Singh is the Honorary Secretary of InfoTech Education Society and the Founder Pro-Chancellor, of IES University, one of the most reputed and upcoming Universities of Central India, working for imparting education in the fields of Engineering & Technology, Management, Education, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Nursing & Para-Medical Courses, Fashion Designing, Teacher’s Education, Diploma Courses and Research, i.e., catering to the educational needs of a student right from Nursery Schooling up to Ph.D. level. IES Group aims to produce skilled and responsible professionals by working with specialized and experienced educationists so as to ensure the overall personality development of students by providing value-added knowledge in line with present-day global trends and the needs of nation, society, and industry.

She has been a brilliant scholar with an outstanding academic record in her Graduate and Masters Degrees (B.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., M.Sc.) and has earned her M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Education, from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Her two decades of rich experience in academics, administration, and admirable counseling skills have ensured the meteoric rise of the IES Group under her capable leadership and able guidance.

Dr. Sunita Singh has worked with faculty, students, staff, and administration to develop and execute a strategic plan that has led the development of new programs and facilities across the colleges and departments of IES University, including restructuring the leadership at various departments, expanding the University student enrollment substantially. She is promoting and advancing innovative teaching on campus; amplifying IES University’s partnerships with Academia and Industry in Central India, and other parts of the country, thus enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial opportunity for faculty and students. She is committed to increasing access to an IES education for meritorious and ambitious students countrywide regardless of their financial status.

Pro-Chancellor Dr. Sunita Singh has authored or edited over a dozen books and published many articles and papers in national and international journals. At the national level, she has been an active spokesperson for societal support of sciences, through her articles, publications, etc. She has been a resource person and a keynote speaker at various forums including, faculty development programs, seminars, and conferences. She serves on several advisory, non-profit, and corporate boards and is an active member of several professional bodies like:

• Member in the India Science Congress Association
• Institutional Memberships of All India Management Association (AIMA)  

Dr. Sunita Singh has been conferred numerous awards at the state and national level like:

• Woman Shining Star Award by Lion’s Club,
• The Woman Super Achiever Award by the Ph.D. Chamber (New Delhi) for Skill and Entrepreneurship Development.

In addition to her contribution to the field of education, she is well aware of her responsibilities towards society and has a deep sense of commitment and conviction to contribute to causes like Rural Development, Women Empowerment, Spreading Environmental Consciousness and alike. She has participated in many conferences & seminars, the recent among them being: Wipro mission X, Communication Workshop, Capacity Building Program at IIM Indore, among others.
