Infotech Education Society established in 1999, set up the IES University in 2019. It is promoted by eminent, experienced educationists, Er. B.S. Yadav, Founder Chairman, Infotech Education Society & Chancellor, IES University, and Prof. Dr. Sunita Singh, Founder Chairman, Infotech Education Society & Pro-Chancelor, IES University. Renowned academicians, philanthropists, engineers and technical professionals have been instrumental in setting up IES University and are working since the past two decades for attaining educational excellence, serving society through education; and fulfilling the needs of various professionals. IES University provides Diplomas, UG, PG and Doctoral level courses in various professional streams including Education, Engineering, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Design, Journalism and Mass Communication, BAMS, etc along with Pre-Nursery to K-12 schools having 2 branches each at Bhopal and Sehore.

The sprawling 55 acres landscaped campus at Bhopal has been awarded the first ever 'Gold Certified Green Campus' by IGBC Hyderabad, Clean Campus Award by AICTE, New Delhi, and has also got the privilege of being first Tobacco Free Campus of M.P. by M.P. Government. It has been awarded, several times for Educational excellence, Placement records, Innovation, Skill Development, etc.

The vision is to ensure that students gain domain knowledge, develop the necessary skills and attitude to be easily absorbed in industries as well as professional spheres. IES University has experienced all round growth, through increase in the number of professional courses, the number of National/Multinational recruiting companies, value of packages offered, ever growing research and publications, etc. By 2022, over 135 well established MNCs like #TCS #Wipro #Tavisca #Capgemini #Juspay #Infosys etc. offered placements to 516 #IESians; many receiving multiple placements with highest package of 13 lac per annum visited (till Feb.). IES is consistently Bhopal’s 2nd largest placement provider since the last 8 years.

The Institute has signed several MOUs with Metropolitan College, New York; NASSCOM; UK Education India & College of Engineering, Pune (COEP), etc., to work together for student & faculty development, and presently College of Engineering, Pune is official mentor of IES College of Technology. IES University also has Central India’s first CII Education Excellence Forum that develops customized programmes and delivery models to reach out to educational institutions across India through school education, clusters, training, counseling, institutional assessments, school education, conclaves and summits to provide access to quality education. The University has got Corporate Tie Ups for Industrial training with various Companies- affiliations with Microsoft Innovation Center & IBM Center of Excellence help to train students and develop the skills required at the corporate level. Apart from training of students, professors & faculty members of IES have also been actively participating in various Workshops & Training Programs conducted by TCS, IBM and IIT Bombay.

Students of IES have received multiple accolades for their outstanding performance in the various national level competitions, for innovation, App development, Essay writing, etc. They reached the Grand Finale of the biggest Technical Contest of the country ‘Accenture Innovation Challenge’ and won Most Popular Idea Award of the Season.  IES Team also won First Position at Accenture Innovation Jockey Season 4, and the IESian team won a trip to Silicon valley, San Francisco, USA, an Apple I Phone 6, an Apple I Pad, and an opportunity to work with Accenture.

The University has an environment friendly policy, and has installed a 100 KWs Solar Power plant at Campus, inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of M.P. Smt. Anandiben Patel.
