Student welfare
IES university provides many support services, resources, and programs to assist students in various aspects of their mental-physical wellbeing, career guidance and personal development.
KAVACH-2023 Program :
To provide unique opportunity for higher institutional Students and Startups in India and identifying their innovative ideas/concepts, MoE's Innovation Cell, AICTE along with Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D)(MHA) and Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C)(MHA) have launched ‘KAVACH-2023’ a unique national Hackathon to identify innovative concepts and technology solutions for addressing the security challenges of the 21st century faced by our intelligence agencies. The KAVACH 2023 hackathon was hosted at nodal center IES University Bhopal, it is a 36 hour coding challenge for students selected in the hackathon.The Hon’ble Governor sir MP, felicitated the winners of the KAVACH hackathon with cash awards.
Club activities:
The IES university student club “Dynamic Drillers” serves the interests and needs of students while also improving their balance inner stabilility, intellectual acuity and healthiness. The clubs viz., sports club, R&D club, literary club, and music & dance club work towards achieving these goals.
Non-Profit:
Students of all departments are involved in activities for societal welfare to imbibe the spirit of giving back and to develop them as worthy citizens and young professionals who will be of service to the nation.
- Students of Ayurveda conducted medical check-up camp at IES University on 14th of December 2022.
- Blood donation camp, association with Ramesh and Shardha Foundation, 30th November 2022.
- Plantation drive "Jeevan-Amrit" in association with KGN foundation , Awani welfare society , Dream Bhopal Green Bhopal and BCCI , by student Social Welfare Club, 12th July 2023.
- Social awareness Street Play by students "Stories of Old age".
- Road Safety Awareness Drill for imparting skills to navigate roads safely.
Cultural activities:
Students of IES University come together to celebrate diverse cultural festivals making our campus a hub of creative and cross-cultural exploration,where students can learn from each other's traditions.
- Student Funfair “Holi haat“ at IES campus on 3rd March 2022.
- Khadi fashion show promoting Indian handmade fabric on April 5th 2022.
- Navaratri Celebration with Garba in colorful attire on 1st October 2022.
- New Year Celebration 31st December 2022.
- Holi Milan Samaroh with traditional Eco-friendly colors on 11th march 2023.
- Hasya Kavi Sammelan Popularising Poetry among youth with Chirag Jain on 6th of March 2023.
- Spectacular live Music Concert of the Renowned Singer Stebin Ben on 13th April 2023.
Industrial visits and expert talks :
Industrial visits and interactions with industry experts at our collegehelps connecting our students with real-world enterprises and providing a bridge between classroom learning and the professional world preparing them to enter the workforce.
- Expert talks exploring valuable insights, knowledge, and perspectives, are arranged regularly for value addition; and delivered by various eminents guests. The topics cover a wide variety of interesting, innovative, motivational and career guidance themes.
- Industrial visit was organized for students from the Department of Civil Engineering to Eklavya foundation for understanding sustainable building practices on 24th January 2023.
- Technology, and industry collaboration with the Industrial visit to CRISP by students from Department of Mechanical Engineering on 27th January 2023.
- Inforia -3 day technofest was organized from 11th to 13th of April with more than 30 technical events.
Institutional :
We celebrate the journey of our students through a series of memorable events fostering a sense of belonging from day one forging strong connections that extend beyond the classroom and into lifelong friendships.
- “Utkarsh” the annual day celebration of IES university embraces achievements, celebrates milestones, and the spirit of our vibrant community through an enchanting evening of performances, recognition, and camaraderie.
- “Udaan” our Farewell Ceremony for graduating students. They are greeted with an unforgettable evening of warmth, nostalgia, and heartfelt farewells.
- “Agaaz” welcomes our vibrant community of learners and introduces them to campus life, by connecting with fellow students for starting the journey of learning together.
